Recent Movie Reviews

For a long time we have used the video store as one of our main ways to access movies. These days you can stay at home and get movies form a movie download site. Just about any movie every made can be attained through a movie download site now. Check out these samples.

Man in The Dark: Convict O'Brien goes through noggin surgery to remove lawbreaker curved and loses memory in the format; his old cohorts only care that he keep in mind where he stashed their stolen loot. Alright redo of The Guy Who Lived Two Times was initially shown in three-D. Cast includes Edmond O'Brien, Audrey Stumble, Ruth Warren, Ted de Corsia, Horace McMahon, and Notch Dennis. (70 minutes, 1953)

A Goofy Movie: Ever-lovable Goofy takes his child, Max, on a street-trip vacation. However, it's a lifestyle conflict between the '90s boy and his old-styled dad. Easy and simple Disney animation characteristic for babies with a handful of serviceable melodies and a fine "message" in regards to dad-child relations. No Disney classic, although delightful enough. Cast includes Jason Marsden, Jim Cummings, Kellie Martin, Pillage Paulsen, Wallace Shawn, and Pat Buttra. (78 minutes, 1995)

Alice and Martin: A youthful gentleman, agonized by his adolescence, meets his half-brothers friend Ben, who is drawn to him regardless of his harsh spiritual wounds. Martin's bothered past is gradual1y exposed to the audience in flashbacks, but it is very perplexing to understand what is really going on. Cast includes Juliette Binoche, Alexis Loret, Mathieu Amalric, Carmen Maura, -Jean-Pierre Lorit, and Marthe Villalonga. (128 minutes, 1969)

Presumed Innocent: D.A. Rusty Sabich has been accused of murder. His former lover, and co worker in the D.A.'s Office, has been murdered, and the evidence points toward him. He now must figure out just whom the murderer really is to prove his innocence.

All at Sea: Strong comedy that keeps its own all the way through. Guinness is adorable as sailor who couldn't bear sight of water although purchases rundown home-encumbered wharf, turning it into an entertainment palace. Primordial title: Barnacle Bill. Cast includes Alec Guinness, Irene Browne, Percy Herbert, and Harold Goodwin. (87 minutes, 1957)

Raise the Red Lantern: Striking check out the life of a youthful concubine in 19208 China, as university-informed gal Gong Li is sent to feudal nobleman's palatial home to become his latest spouse. The relations between her and her predecessors, all of whom live on the premises--and the interaction amid the ladies, the servants, and their master are brilliantly played out. An exceptional view of sex, dependability, captivate, and lady joining. Cast includes Gong Li, Ma Jingwu, He Caifei, Cao Cuifeng, Jin Shuyuan, Kong Lin, Ding Weimin, and Cui Zhihgang. (125 minutes, 1991)

Alamo Bay: Well-made although strangely un-involving film based on genuine-life clash between Vietnamese immigrants and American fishermen on the Texas Gulf Coastline. Cast includes Amy Madigan, Ed Harris, Ho Nguyen, Donald Moffat, Troyer V. Tran, and Rudy Youthful. (98 minutes, 1985)

Jerry Maguire: Jerry is an agent for a top Sports Management group. When he is fired, he expects his client to come along with him as he sets out on his own. All of a sudden Jerry realizes that he has no true friends in this cutthroat, dog eat dog, business. Down to one client and one assistant, Jerry fights to build himself a business.

Unbreakable: Elijah Price has live his whole life with a horrible bone condition. His bones are so weak that they shatter with the slightest jolt. From his reading of comics, he is convinced that there is an opposite of him living in the world. The story is of his search to find this 'unbreakable' man.
